Nursing Programs

Ranger College offers Vocational Nursing (LVN) and Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) Programs.
Ranger College offers a one-year VN Program . Upon satisfactory completion of the program and passing NCLEX exam, students are eligible to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The program is available at the college’s Brown County and Erath County Centers. The program begins each August.
Ranger College offers a two-year RN Program. Upon satisfactory completion of the program and passing NCLEX exam, students are eligible to work as nurses in hospitals. The RN Program is available in Brown County only. It is a 4-semester program with 9 semester credit hours of nursing courses each semester.
